Becky Bereans gathered on Monday August 27th, 2023 to continue our discussion of Paul’s pastoral letters to Timothy. Paul concludes his first letter encouraging Timothy to set himself apart from false teachings and the lust for worldly riches, and to hold fast to his confession of faith in the Gospel. After reminding Timothy of the unapproachable glory of the Lord, he encourages those who are rich in earthly possessions to use them for the good of those around us and thereby lay up heavenly treasures for ourselves.
