Genesis 15 tells us of God’s appearance to Abram in a vision through which God reiterated His promise to bring forth an innumerable nation from Abram’s own son and to give Abram’s offspring all the land from the Nile to the Euphrates as their inheritance. In Genesis 15:6, we read that Abram believed God and his faith was credited by God to Abram as righteousness.

Israelites’ Journey from the Wilderness to Canaan

This map details the Israelites’ journey from Kadesh-barnea to their camp on the east side of the Jordan opposite Jericho before they entered the Promised Land under Joshua’s leadership. The probable route they took is shown in red.

NOTE – There is a typo on this map. The caption for the battle at Jahaz should read “Num 21:21-32.”
