After foretelling the coming invasion of Israel which he likened to a swarm of locust which will cause utter destruction of the land, Joel continues by prophesying God’s miraculous restoration of the land, and His judgment on the nations who took part in the invasion at the Valley of Jehoshaphat. Joel also shares God’s declaration that in His Day, He will pour out His Spirit upon all people.
