Lakeside Addition – Utility Rough-ins
While awaiting the roofing metal, the utility rough-ins were completed
We have called our little South Carolina homestead יְהֹוָה יִרְאֵה (Jaweh Jireh) Haven. יְהֹוָה יִרְאֵה (Jaweh Jireh) means “The LORD will provide.” This name of God is taken from Genesis 22:14. After God had commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac on Mount Moriah, at the last moment the angel of God commanded Abraham not to harm the boy, but God Himself provided a ram to sacrifice in Isaac’s place.

Electrical, plumbing, telecommunication wiring/conduit, and HVAC line set rough-ins. County rough-in inspection passed.
Gratuitous whining about various struggles from the end of June through late July.
The new windows (at least most of them) were delivered and installed.
With the framing of the addition complete, it was time to tackle demolition of the old house. As the demolition proceeded, the need for more and more demolition was revealed until very little remained of the original house.
Roof framing for the addition was mostly completed. Still needs to be tied in with existing house roof frame.
Today, the walls for the addition were completed with the sheathing and wrapping of the exterior walls, and the framing of the interior walls.
Addition framing continues with laying of the sub-floor and erection of the outside walls.
