Brian’s nonsensical ravings
First thing this morning, we visited the Shiloh Civil War Battlefield, then made our way to the Mississippi north of Memphis and crossed over into the toe of Missouri. In the afternoon, we made our way up from the Mississippi valley into the Ozark Mountains.
Today we drove through the Ozark Mountains to Hannibal, MO – boyhood home of Mark Twain.
Northeast Missouri to the banks of the Missouri River in northeast Nebraska with a short zig into southwest Iowa.
From the Missouri River to Rapid City via Badlands National Park. We were unable to visit the Wounded Knee Memorial due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The final day of our trip. After a short walk along the Cascades Trail, we made our way home via the Blue Ridge Parkway
After a pleasant stay with our old friend John in Roanoke, we pointed the rig along the Blue Ridge Parkway, but didn’t quite make it home.

Today we continued our journey through the Allegheny Mountains, passing by the Green Bank National Radio Observatory, and then descending into Roanoke, VA.
